Our Promise
- We guarantee that our plants will arrive healthy and true to name, and that they will establish under normal gardening conditions when planted and cared for according to our guidelines.
- If your plants do not arrive in good condition or fail to establish during the first growing season, we will make it right.
What’s Covered
- Arrival issues: Plants that arrive damaged, severely stressed, incorrect, or missing.
- Establishment issues: Plants that fail to grow or die during their first growing season after proper planting and care.
- Order errors on our part: Wrong item sent, wrong quantity, or shipping to the wrong address due to our error.
What’s Not Covered
- Damage after delivery due to weather extremes (frost, heat waves, drought, flooding), animals, pests, disease introduced in your garden, chemical damage, or mechanical injury.
- Neglect, improper planting, poor site selection (e.g., incorrect light, drainage), or planting outside recommended USDA hardiness zones.
- Natural variations and normal plant characteristics such as seasonal dormancy, trimmed foliage, or minor cosmetic blemishes that do not affect plant health.
- Clearance/final sale items and special-order items (unless arrival damage/our error).
- Gift cards (non-refundable).
Reporting Timeframes
- Arrival/delivery issues: Report within 7 days of delivery.
- Establishment issues: Report by the end of your first growing season after delivery (or within 90 days of delivery, whichever is later). Note: For fall shipments, claims may be honored into the following spring to account for dormancy.
